The People\u2019s School program has been officially launched as a national pilot project and is part of President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s directive to provide inclusive education for all levels of society, particularly for poor and extremely poor families. The Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul), emphasized that this program represents the government\u2019s concrete commitment to breaking the cycle of poverty through education. \u201cThis is not only for students, but also for teachers, principals, and even myself as a minister\u2014we must all continue to learn,\u201d said Gus Ipul during his visit to a simulation of the People\u2019s School in East Jakarta, Wednesday (July 9, 2025).<\/p>\n

The People\u2019s School is designed as a free boarding education solution that enables children from underprivileged families to gain proper access to education. Its first implementation is scheduled for the 2025\/2026 academic year, with 53 out of 200 units set to begin operating in July 2025. The program is regulated under Presidential Instruction (Inpres) No. 8 of 2025 on the Optimization of Poverty Alleviation and the Elimination of Extreme Poverty.<\/p>\n

However, every new school faces major challenges in preparing its teaching system and learning materials. This requires time, experience, and continuous improvements, often taking years before it reaches maturity. This is where educational technology such as Kipin comes in to provide a fast, practical, and proven solution.<\/p>\n

Kipin is an all-in-one school digitalization system that has been developed for more than 10 years and is now used by nearly 4,000 schools across Indonesia. All services are packaged into a local server that is easy to install in cities, villages, and even in remote 3T areas with limited internet access. This technology is known as Kipin Eduspot Wifi, an innovation that has won more than five international awards as proof of its quality and effectiveness in supporting schools under various conditions.<\/p>\n

With these advantages, the government can easily adopt the Kipin system to accelerate the digitalization of the People\u2019s School, Garuda School, and other new schools currently being established. Kipin, which stands for Kios Pintar (Smart Kiosk), has become a legendary solution that has helped tens of thousands of teachers and schools from Sabang to Merauke. Thousands of success stories from schools using Kipin can also be found through the official Kipin Pendidikan Indonesia YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

Through the combination of the President\u2019s vision, government commitment, and educational technology solutions such as Kipin, the dream of providing inclusive, high-quality, and equitable education across Indonesia can be realized more quickly.<\/p>\n
